Objective: Integration of Learning Competencies in Mathematics at Reremoana School
Our Learning Model reflects the crucial relationship Learning to Learn and Learning Together . It is made up of six competencies:
Being Resilient is...persevering with challenges and ‘bouncing back’ when things get tough.
Collaborating is...participating co-operatively in any given situation
Connecting is...finding and developing relationships.
Discerning is...making appropriate choices based on what I see and what I know.
Questioning is...being curious about what I think, learn and do.
Reflecting is...looking at what I have done and deciding ‘where to next’

- Clarify a situation or process
- Take my learning to a deeper level
- Use tools and strategies to think about a situation or solve a problem
- Look at a situation from a variety of perspectives
- Maintain an inquisitive attitude
